Three years ago when we took over the XTERRA Portland event we hired local artist, Jason Faulkner, to create custom trophies for the male and female champions. Each year we tell him we need two custom trophies for our race and he comes up with something beyond our imagination. This year is no different! I just received a couple text pictures of the started project and he has really outdone himself this time. Can’t wait to unveil these at Athletes Lounge during packet pickup on August 7th.
